We guarantee the possibility of rare penny finds of a multitude of different errors. Of course, we can’t guarantee which orders contain rare coins, how many rare coins, or which rare coins because we do not search the coin. But that’s part of what makes it fun!
Due to high-speed alloy sorting techniques, we have no idea how many Wheat Cents or Indian Heads, etc (if any) will be present as the tin content and other alloy material present may cause an unknown quantity to be off-sorted as a result. We hear back from many people of all sorts of found goodies. We just don’t want to promise something we can’t promise since we are mechanically sorting.

The Math
Another important thing to note is the math.
One ton equals 2000 pounds, divided by 34 pound bags ($50 face value), is 2000 / 34 = 58.823 bags x $50 each =
$2,941.18 copper cents face value.
This is not what we do.
Here’s how we do our copper penny by the ton math:
We piece count each copper cent bag to 5015 and include sixty (60) bags per 1 ton order.
This means, by our math, 1 ton consists of 60 bags x $50.15 =
$3,009.00 face value of copper cents.
